About Lynne White

ART

Lynne has been a creative spirit her whole life—first through movement, as a choreographer and lifelong dancer, and then through structure, designing and building 20 soulful, whimsical homes. Her tagline as a builder was “creating soulful homes for the human,” and that same intention lives on in her art today.

Someone once said stepping into one of her houses felt like “falling into a bowl of sherbet”—and she took that as the highest compliment.

Now, through painting, she’s found a new way to express the same joy, color, and playfulness. Her art is a journey—each piece a little world where imagination lives, a place where you might feel like you’re coloring outside the lines as a child again. Everything she creates is rooted in color. It makes her feel young and free, and she hopes it does the same for you.

HOMES

Lynne has been a licensed real estate agent since 1978 selling her first home in the Green Lake neighborhood of Seattle for $26,000. Since then, she has explored a number of complementary avenues that have enhanced her ability to not only buy and sell homes, but design and reconstruct new homes.

Lynne has attended extensive workshops on the subject of intuitive energy, including Heartwork with Ralfee Finn, the Five Elements with Stewart Edwards of the International Institute of Chinese Medicine and Plant Spirit Medicine as introduced by Elliot Cowan. She studied the ancient Chinese art of Feng Shui Design in Grass Valley, California. Feng Shui, or wind and water, is the art of adjusting energy in your home or office to maximize harmony and balance.

She has instructed real estate agents in Feng Shui and conducted workshops for the general public to enhance the livability, as well as increase the marketability, of their homes. Her understanding of the Seattle market, her deep intuition and her artistic talents have resulted in the successful reconstruction and development of many homes in the Seattle area.
