I love the details in this house, the wainscoting and the warm fir floors, all duplicating the Inverness house...

It wasn't until I visited Grandma White's old Inverness house on the California coast that I understood what I was to do with this new project. Grandma's house hadn't changed since I visited last when I was 6 years old. It was now occupied by two renowned artists and it was wonderfully old and funky just as I had remembered it! I photographed the amazing floor to ceiling wainscoting and trim details and brought it home to my vision for this house. It would have the feeling of an artistic cottage. I love the details in this house, the wainscoting and the warm fir floors, all duplicating the Inverness house... thank you Grandma White for the inspiration!
